The Historic Series was designed to pay homage to Gretsch’s legendary archtops and acoustics of the 1930s and 40s. This model is famous for its distinctive, elegant triangular soundhole, iconic "thumbnail" fretboard inlays, and an expansive Jumbo body shape that delivers a rich, booming, and resonant acoustic voice. 
This guitar has been exceptionally well-cared-for and includes the original Gretsch Quality Control Department "O.K. Card" from its factory inspection on May 20, 2005, matching the internal serial number (KP05030019).
