Absolutely stunning guitar. I’ve owned a number of ES guitars from the 1960s and this by far takes the cake. All original hardware and electronics. Stunning refin done long ago. The black is striking. light checking, but over all very clean. One thing that really interesting is this guitar has binding that would have been reserved for the higher end ES 355 models. Not sure the history there. The vibrola was added and the ground wire was relocated appropriately. At one point the guitar was fitted with Grover tuners, but had been returned to 60‘s Kluson tuners. I really would love to keep this guitar for the rest of my life but need to raise funds for more creative work.
