This is an "open box" mouthpiece. I opened it to inspect it, installed a mouthpiece patch and blue protective tape, measured the facing to make sure it was straight and accurate, and put it back in the box after a quick play test. It plays excellent with a strong and full sound, just not the sort of mouthpiece I normally play, being an Otto Link lover.
