Here’s a nice players grade 1962 Stratocaster ready to play and give you those SRV or Jimi tones. There’s been some changes to this one, but most of the important bits are still there.
This is a November stamped neck, so while it’s still Brazilian, it’s a veneer board not a slab. The frets show wear in the cowboy chord area and a bit in the solo area up to the 12th fret. There’s also a small stabile crack running from the screw at the base of the neck. It look very old and like it hasn’t moved since it appeared.
Everything is original aside from the following:
Body finish
Neck might have been over sprayed
Pots are Dimarzio, but look old as dirt
One tone cap
Tuners are 70’s Fender
Backplate(I’m assuming)
Pickup adjustment screws
Mini toggle which when on activates the bridge and neck position(no holes were drilled in the body for this mod)
Late 60’s/early 70’s beat up Fender case
Not included: the trem bar or the ashtray bridge cover
Weight is 7lbs 9oz
0.82” 1st fret
0.95” 12th fret
