Offered for sale is a vintage Dynaco Stereo 35 (ST-35) tube power amplifier, one of the most respected EL84/6BQ5-powered amplifiers ever produced. This example remains remarkably original and includes the desirable original perforated tube cage.

The amplifier has been carefully brought up slowly on a Variac and is currently producing audio from both channels, as demonstrated in the accompanying video. Beyond basic servicing, the amplifier has been left largely untouched, making it an excellent candidate for collectors, restorers, or enthusiasts who prefer to decide for themselves which upgrades or restoration path to pursue.

Important Notes

This amplifier is approximately 60 years old. While it is currently functioning, it should be considered a vintage electronic component. No extensive testing, calibration, or restoration has been performed.

The ST-35 has a large following, and numerous restoration and upgrade options are available ranging from sympathetic restorations to complete modern rebuilds. I have intentionally left the amplifier largely untouched so the next owner can determine the direction they wish to take.

Cosmetic Condition

Please review all photographs carefully. The amplifier presents well overall with honest age-related wear, light oxidation on portions of the chassis, and normal signs of vintage use. The original cage is included and displays nicely.
