Vintage Ludwig super classic 22 round x 14 inch bass drum shell.
Keystone badge drum finished in original and sought after white marine pearl -- one of the most popular vintage finishes made by Ludwig in the 1960s.
Date stamp inside the shell clearly visible that reads Dec. 21 1967.
Serial numbers 557820. Keystone badge in excellent condition no bent corners, no loose areas, serial numbers are crisp and easy to read.
All of the original hardware has been removed from the shell except for the keystone badge and vent hole grommet.
The shell is in excellent condition no issues no added holes all of the holes are original. No cracking or checking in the wrap finish.
Beautiful rich white marine pearl wrap in excellent condition with lots of luster shine and depth. Tight wrap seam no lifting. Exceptional color that is consistent throughout the finish.
Original white factory shell interior. Bearing edges and reinforcement rings in excellent condition no issues. Super clean shell interior no discoloration. One of the cleanest interiors I have seen in all my years of collecting and selling vintage drums.
