Created to honor the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci, this limited-edition Paoletti is far more than a standard boutique build. It carries a level of provenance, story, & visual identity that places it firmly in collector territory.

The Leonardo 500 series was built using reclaimed oak from wine barrels recovered from the Da Vinci family estate in Vinci, Italy. That alone makes the instrument unusual, but the hand-engraved I Nodi artwork takes it even further. The design references Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic knotwork, giving the guitar a historical & artistic presence that feels closer to a functional art piece than a conventional custom guitar.

At the same time, this is still a serious instrument. The Paoletti Filter’Tron pickups, Bigsby B5 vibrato, Pau Ferro fingerboard, & aged olive / walnut inlays give the guitar real musical depth beneath the visual impact. It is striking enough for a collection or gallery setting, but fully capable as a high-end stage or studio instrument.
