Vintage Silvertone Colorama Archtop Acoustic 1950’s Kentucky Blue RARE John Prine

Selling a rare and so cool Silvertone Colorama in its original “Kentucky Blue“ finish. Being from Kentucky, I’ve always loved these guitars. Of all the guitars I’ve bought and sold over the years I’ve held onto this one almost the longest. Most of them are trashed and play like a cardboard box with strings. This one, despite having a slight gap in the neck heel, plays wonderfully and sounds boxy, woody, with a punchy midrange that you just don’t get from new archtops. It’s got plenty of wear but no real cracks or breaks or even significant finish issues. The neck has a few dings which have been colored in, but it much better than most of these you will see. If you’re looking for a unique instrument with an interesting, old timey tone, this is it. It also makes one hell of a wall decoration with its vibrant two tone blue and cream finish. These are getting very hard to find and I know I will end up regretting this, but I need to make some space for other things. will ship in a gig bag or hardcase if I can find one and will be well packed.
