Selling one Avantone Active MixCube powered mono reference monitor in cream.
The MixCube is designed as a single-driver reference speaker for checking the most important part of a mix: the midrange. It is especially useful in mono for vocal level, guitars, snare, bass audibility, and making sure the song still translates when the big low end and shiny top end are taken out of the picture.
I’ve found these most useful as a mono reference rather than as a stereo pair. It is a great little “truth speaker” for checking whether the core of a mix is actually working.
Works properly and sounds as it should. Cosmetically it shows normal studio wear from use, including some marks/scuffs, but nothing that affects function. See photos.
