Selling my HEDD HEDDphone TWO open-back reference headphones.

These are high-end professional / audiophile headphones built around HEDD’s full-range Air Motion Transformer driver technology. They are designed for serious mixing, mastering, critical listening, and detailed reference work, with a fast, open, highly revealing sound that makes it easy to hear transient detail, stereo placement, midrange balance, and low-end decisions.

I went on a bit of a headphone fact-finding mission and bought these as another high-end reference option. I used them in a few different studios and also mixed on them in hotels while on the road. They sound excellent, but I’m simplifying my monitoring setup and sticking with the headphones/monitors I already know best.

One note: I unfortunately left one of the original cable sets in a hotel room, lost forever to the road..... I replaced it with a sturdy red Fog City Audio cable made with Mogami 22AWG cable. It is well-built, easy to spot, and works perfectly.

Reviewers have praised the HEDDphone TWO as a serious mixing tool, with excellent detail, openness, and a more comfortable redesigned build compared to the original HEDDphone. The TWO uses a lighter construction and comes in at around 550 g, roughly 25% lighter than the first version.
