This is a 2016 Gibson SG "Naked", a limited run highlighting an all-mahogany, simply finished instrument. This is one of two finishes offered, "Natural" (the other being "Walnut"), and the grain and satin finish give it a striking appearance.
This guitar plays easily and smoothly, with a narrower and slimmer neck than most Gibsons, with 24 frets and very low action. The P-90s growl and marry very well with the all-mahogany construction.
There are a few blemishes in the finish from normal use, not particularly hard gigging from the previous owner - I have never gigged this out of the house. The only modification I made was to install an additional strap button on the horn, which is very solid and secure. This has completely removed the typical neck dive inherent to SG models and makes this guitar a joy to play. The original strap button on the back of the guitar where the neck meets the body is still there.
I didn't care for the standard stock Gibson gig bag this came with, so I sold it and purchased a Gibson SG standard brown case - this is also included in the price and is a $199 value (if you can find them in stock).
