The stock chambered body is from Rosser. My approach in the finish was to apply to black dye soak then sand the surface to reveal the nice ash grain. Sealers and stains were applied then a light series of poly wipes and a progressive sanding was completed to get the satin finish. The body has the Seymour Duncan single coil (vintage, SCPB-1) and I tested it out with the neck to hear a great warm punchy tone. Fully equipped controls. Note please - since this body needs a proper guard, the fitted guard position that mates with the control plate is all good, but leaves about 1/4 inch gap between the neck heel and the facing pickguard, exposing a little body surface at the neck heel. I'm throwing all in with my pickguard collection to sweeten up. Nice project and an SCPB project is the best of 'em. Fully loaded body weighs 5.5 pounds.
I have the Allparts neck listed for your interest. It's a perfect mate. Thanks
