Later-version V-Twin with clean gain and blues-to-solo adjustments on the bottom. Fully operational, sounds like it should, no issues. Original power supply (with super long cable) works great.

Despite what many internet denizens say about the V-Twin being a "Recto in a box" or other nonsense, these are actually a pretty close knock-off of the Marshall JMP-1 preamp, voiced a little looser and Boogie-er, and in simple floor stomper format. Just check out the schematics.

The following mods have been added to make it more useful:

- Clean/blues switch replaced with stomp switch to allow footswitching of all three modes. LED between tubes tracks color (clean=green, blue=blues) with the active mode. Boogie used to do just the stomp switch mod at the factory. The LED color tracking is a nice extra detail so you can know what sound you're going to land on when turning off the solo mode. The other two stompers have been replaced so all three look the same.

- Solo mode saturation control added (under the tube cage) to dial back the diode clipping and tighten up solo mode a bit. Turned down it clears up some mud, so you can get a little closer to Marshally sounds. Turned full up, it's like it isn't there. Boogie used to offer a solo volume knob there as another factory mod, but with the clean gain trimmer at the bottom, that's a bit redundant.

The voicing and overall sonic characteristics remain unchanged, because these things sound pretty darn good (... because Boogie copied a pretty good circuit).

Lots of connectivity options on the back. My favorite was running this into a Fryette Power Station, and it sounded pretty rad at all kinds of volumes.
