The Saturnworks active splitter splits + latching kill switch tuner out pedal splits your signal without level or tone loss. Perfect for use as a tuner out, the latching kill switch allows you tune while playing or to turn off the signal going to the amp in order to tune silently.

Need to split your signal? Many players first reach for a Y-cable, but quickly learn that simply splitting a standard (high impedance) guitar signal with a Y-cable can kill your tone and cause signal loss. Putting a buffer before the split is better, but with that setup, the level of one side of the split may affect the level of the other side. 

The Saturnworks buffered splitter is a great way to keep your tone strong and clear and to eliminate signal interaction between channels. The Saturnworks buffered splitter isn't just a single buffer followed by a signal split. The "dual" in the Saturnworks dual active splitter means that this pedal takes one input signal and splits it into two individually buffered outputs. Each output has its own buffer. This keeps both signals strong and eliminates any levels interaction between channels. 

The active splitter + latching kill switch has a latching kill switch on the lower of the two outputs. Connecting a tuner to the upper output, you can tune while playing, or you can use the kill switch to turn the signal off to the amp in order to tune silently. Not limited to use as a tuner out, you can use the splitter/latching kill switch in any setup in which you would like to split your signal and be able to turn off one of the outputs.

This pedal can also be set up specifically for bass. The bass mod opens up lower frequencies, but doesn't cut highs, so it can be used with guitar as well. The bass mod is a good idea if you're wanting to use the splitter to convert unbalanced line level signals (synths, for example) to use with guitar gear.
