Vintage 1970s Suzuki F-90 Dreadnought – MIJ Lawsuit Era – Fully Upgraded
Skip the $150 luthier setup fee. This vintage MIJ dreadnought has already been fully optimized with $100+ in premium upgrades (Bone/Buffalo Horn) and plays with perfect low action right out of the case.Selling a rare 1970s Suzuki F-90 dreadnought acoustic guitar, made in Nagoya, Japan. These vintage "lawsuit era" guitars are known for a great woody tone but usually suffer from cheap factory hardware. This one has been fully upgraded to reach its full potential.Upgrades & Specs:
- Saddle & Nut: Upgraded to genuine bone for better sustain and warmer treble.
- Bridge Pins: Upgraded to high-density buffalo horn for punchier bass.
- Strings: Brand new Elixir Phosphor Bronze Custom Lights (10-47).
Playability & Maintenance:
- Action: Low, comfortable, and easy to play up the neck.
- Maintenance: Fretboard freshly conditioned and frets polished for a smooth feel.
- Truss Rod: The neck is currently straight, but the truss rod is maxed. It plays great right now with the light-gauge 10-47 Elixirs currently installed, which keep string tension low.
Condition & Sound:
Solid vintage player's condition. Expect normal scuffs and a couple of minor finish chips from 50+ years of use. Structurally sound with a secure bridge. Thanks to the upgrades and aged wood, it is loud, clear, and punches way above its price point, getting very close to a vintage Martin sound for a fraction of the cost.
