Dan Zagar builds guitars in Lincoln Nebraska but has both a travel size guitar and this parlor 38 model contracted from an Asian factory.
This parlor does fit into a Taylor mini GS travel gig bag if you travel via airline.
What separates this instrument from the field is that the back and sides are also solid mahogany and not laminated. Therefore the tonewoods are optimum for this price range.
Great detail in the neck and fingerboard to market what Zagar calls an EZ Play guitar. It has not only low action but a string spacing and scale length to lend optimum comfort to play.
The hardcase is excellently crafted and includes locking keys as well as a built in thermometer and humidity gauge.
