This is the legendary Yamaha YAS-62IIS. This is the second generation of this legendary Yamaha series. It’s silver plated just like the one Dave Koz used for years.
Silver plating does not brighten the sound, but it does make the sound more complex and more nuanced. It can go from super bright to dark; it will follow your sound vision If you know how to guide it.
This example here is super free blowing from top to bottom. It plays well with no problems from bottom Bb to top F#.
