Up for sale is a vintage Takamine AD-1 (often referred to as the Acoustic DSP AD-1) onboard digital preamplifier from the late 90's. This one came out of my 1999 ND25C. The preamp is the first ever acoustic-electric preamp to feature an onboard chromatic tuner. Excellent shielding due to the metal housing (compared to the plastic housing on the later models).
DSP uses digital technology for EQ, volume control and a selectable two-tone reverb (dark or bright). User can save up to 10 presets. It also features a notch filter (Feedback Absorber/FBA).
