A fabulous Swiss Army knife of a Fendery amplifier. The Fender Custom Shop could only dream of putting out one of these- and they'd "have" to set you back $7k or more.

I chose this over even the new builds from Headstrong, etc... It is an excellent tone machine.

Someone built this kit with great care. All transformers made in USA. Accutronics tank has numbers 503?4 and ?1 267 96 stamped on it if that makes sense to someone. The tank looks to run about as wide as the fuse to the black reverb wire... so perhaps 3-4" shorter than the overall width of the cab? I didn't pull all the tubes but every one that I looked at was a JJ.

Cosmetic observations: Blonde cab (my favorite color) shows a couple discolorations on the top... I don't know if this is from underlying knots in the wood like the old amps. When I received the amp years ago two of the transformers were slightly canted... the chassis is so strong that there was zero chassis flex as I gently uprighted the transformers. Lastly, tolex lifting around the back panel vents.

I am downsizing my amps, guitars, etc as I simplify my life. This Accomplice is one of a very few amplifiers I have kept out of about 100 over the past 30 years. Buy it and enjoy great tone without the vintage electronics risks and prices. You can carry this amp anywhere without concern- you're going to sound amazing and everyone will ask you what it is.
