This guitar is basically new. I bought it and played it a couple times but I have so many guitars I haven't given this the time it deserves. It's pretty and plays great. Comes with the case candy and hardshell case, not a gig bag!

Gibson SG™ Junior

The SG™ Junior returns to the classic design that made it relevant, played, and loved—shaping sound across generations and genres of music. Initially introduced in the early 60s as a student model, the SG Junior has been embraced by musicians ranging from students to world-renowned star performers for over 60 years. The rich, gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, early 60s neck joint, and sharp vintage body scarfing of the mahogany body are hallmarks of this model. The mahogany neck features the comfortable and fast-playing SlimTaper™ profile. Coupled with the lightweight and compact SG body shape, this makes it a great choice for smaller-statured players and those with smaller hands. The neck is topped with a rosewood fretboard with a 12” fretboard radius that delivers easy chording and smooth bends and is outfitted with simple acrylic dot position marker inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets; like all Gibson guitars, each SG Junior is run through a Plek® machine to ensure the frets and low-friction Graph Tech® nut are dressed and set up precisely, so the guitar will have optimum playability throughout the entire length fretboard from the moment you first pick it up. The SG Junior is equipped with the powerful single Dogear P-90 pickup with hand-wired volume and tone controls and an Orange Drop® tone capacitor. While simple and straightforward, a world of different tonal possibilities lives in the various settings on those two knobs. The Vintage Deluxe style tuners with white buttons and the compensated Wraparound bridge also contribute to great sustain, tuning stability, simplicity, function, and rock-solid tone. The SG Junior is a solid, proven performer with no frills to get in your way and everything you need for great tone. A hardshell case is also included to keep it safe when you’re traveling to your next performance.
