VINTAGE Custom Strat 70's - KOA? SCHECTER? DIMARZIO?

PARTS STRAT OR CUSTOM BUILD? You decide!!!

This appears to be out of the late '70s. Features parts from Fender, schecter and possibly Guitar L ab out of New York City, opinionated from a dealer where I purchased it at a guitar show.

Features.

It has a beautiful, lacquer-finished, one-piece maple body with a V-shaped Maple neck - very '57-like. It has Schaller tuners and a Fender bridge that appears older with 2 replaced saddles. I am no expert on these types of guitars but have seen my fair share of custom-built kit guitars from the 1970s. This appears to be KOA wood but to verify for yourself from the photos. Inside is a set of what appear to be early DiMarzio single coil pickups, connected to a master volume, master tone, on-off and phase flip toggles. Its last knob is switches on and controls the level of an installed vintage MXR Micro Amp pedal, removed from its housing and stored beneath the pickguard. The idea is similar to a Stratoblaster, with lots of clean gain and a touch of grit at the top of its range. This guitar plays super well and is extremely comfortable. The vintage trem block is cracked or chipped and may need to be replaced but functions the way it is. I've been using it this way for a while now and wanted to let you know

It's in great condition with some nicks, dings, and finish checking. It has some play wear along its neck, and a small hole on the back of its headstock. It weighs 8 lbs, 3 oz. . If you are a fan of the schecter dream machines, you may be a fan of this one!!🤘🤘
