EQD's flagship fuzz, and for good reason. The Hoof V2 is a Russian Muff-inspired circuit with a hybrid germanium/silicon transistor design — EQD hand-matches the NOS germanium transistors to keep things consistent unit to unit. The result is a fuzz that has the warm, organic feel of germanium with the stability and tightness of silicon. Wide gain range, from gritty amp-like overdrive all the way to full wall-of-fuzz territory.
The Shift knob is what sets this apart from a standard Muff-style pedal — it works alongside the Tone control to adjust the overall frequency response, letting you dial out the classic mid-scoop, add sludge on the low end, or push the highs for something glassy and cutting.
Pedal is in excellent condition-cosmetically and operationally. Ships in its EQD box with some tape damage...see pics.
