Good Vintage Condition | Highly Collectible 1980s Crest Audio Reissue Set

Up for sale is a legendary vintage Crest Audio Fuzz Face guitar distortion effects pedal, complete with its original 1980s factory box. This rare reissue was produced in limited numbers in New Jersey during the late 1980s under Crest Audio (the company that directly succeeded Dallas Arbiter), utilizing high-gain BC109C silicon transistors to capture that iconic, roaring Jimi Hendrix style sustain.

This specific pedal was sourced directly from the estate collection of a lifelong local rock musician.

Condition Notes: This classic pedal is pre-owned and in beautiful vintage cosmetic condition, showing very clean graphics, minimal outer wear, and includes the original gray box packaging as shown.

Unit has been tested and functions beautifully! Needs a good cleaning on the knobs and connection ports.

Important Functional Note: The Volume control knob turns stiffly and is currently quite hard to move. We have deliberately chosen not to force it or apply chemical spray cleaners in order to preserve the 100% untouched integrity of the vintage internal components. This is an ideal, straightforward project for a collector, tech, or musician who knows their way around vintage guitar gear and potentiometers. Because we cannot fully sweep the controls, we do not know if the inner circuit is entirely original or modified, so it is being sold exactly as found, as-is for parts or restoration.
