1947 Oahu Tonemaster 230 K totally restored with caps, 3 prong cord, permanent magnetic speaker conversion and fresh paint in original colors. The original tolex is long gone but the paint will always look perfect and super durable. The beautiful inlaid cord from the original aesthetics separates the brown and tans and is a gorgeous detail. This amp screams MoJo. The all important original flocked grill is in incredible condition, which is a huge feat. Most of these are beat up bad and in need or service, but this one is stage ready for another 50 years and the tone is absolutely incredible and highly versatile from clean to filthy dirty punchy and loud. The volumes controls are HIGHLY interactive and reverse sweep. Volume goes down when you turn them up in some cases. A little like a fender 5E3. Very fun to explore the endless variety of stellar vintage octal pre amp tone. This is a players dream and one of my favorite amps ever. I restored it to perfection imho and I hate to see it go, but baby needs a new home. This is the one you want. I have complete confidence in this amp and it is great in the studio. If you like this amp let’s talk. I will answer all questions. I have back panels but like it better without the. U will love this gem. It’s really like no other amp I have ever experienced. Very interesting and full of endless surprises for harp or guitar. Let’s talk. Listed elsewhere so when it’s gone it’s gone.
