[Product Overview]

~ HORIZON FR-II Tiger Eye Sunburst ~

"E-II" is the global standard brand directed by ESP USA, loved and trusted by top artists worldwide for recording and world tours.

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of the HORIZON FR-II—the flagship model that deeply inherits ESP’s true DNA and comes equipped with a locking tremolo system!!

The greatest appeal of this instrument is the stunning "Tiger Eye Sunburst" finish applied to a premium quilted maple top. Reminiscent of the natural gemstone tiger's eye, the sunburst gradient shifts from a deep amber gold to a dark brown outer edge, accentuating the swirling quilted grain in three dimensions. Under stage lights, it radiates a breathtakingly noble elegance and wild power.

Blending high playability, overwhelming sound quality, and flawless Japanese craftsmanship, this is the new standard for guitarists looking to push their expression to the absolute limit!!

[Key Features & Specifications]

◆ Floyd Rose Tremolo for Unrestricted Arm Action

The bridge is equipped with an authentic Floyd Rose tremolo system, maintaining perfect tuning accuracy even during aggressive dive-bombs or radical pull-ups. Combined with the locking nut, the pitch remains rock-solid no matter how hard you abuse the whammy bar. It fully supports intuitive, expressive techniques like cricket chirps, flutters, and deep dive-bombs.

◆ Neck-Thru-Body Construction for Massive Sustain

Featuring a neck-thru-body construction where a strong 3-piece hard maple neck extends all the way through the end of the body. The heel section is smoothly contoured, offering effortless playability all the way up to the 24th fret. The fingerboard features high-grade ebony—a premium wood that has become increasingly rare in recent years—supporting seamless, smooth fingering and providing a sharp, snappy attack.

◆ Rich Mids and Lows via Mahogany Back

Unlike the standard HORIZON models which typically feature an alder body, this specific model utilizes a mahogany back. This adds a generous, rich low-end and lush overtones to the core tight sound, resulting in a wider, deeper tonal character.

[Tonal Characteristics]

For the electronics, it features the highly acclaimed combination of EMG 57TW (Bridge) & EMG 66TW (Neck) pickups, famous for providing active power with passive-like nuances. Furthermore, you can independently coil-split each pickup by pulling up the Volume and Tone knobs.

[Clean Tone]

While retaining the low-noise, crystal-clear definition unique to active pickups, it offers the warmth and wide dynamic range characteristic of Alnico magnets.

• Humbucker Mode: A jazzy, thick, and sweet tone unique to the mahogany body. Ideal for mellow arpeggios, jazz, or neo-soul approaches.
• Single-Coil Mode: A crispy, transparent tone with a beautiful chime. It truly shines during funky cutting/strumming or ambient chord work with deep modulation effects.

[Distortion / Drive Tone]

Designed with slightly less output compared to the classic EMG 81, it offers exceptional responsiveness to picking nuances and volume control.

• Humbucker Mode: Even with deep, high-gain distortion, the sound never gets muddy. It widely covers everything from modern high-gain metal/djent riffs to rich, singing hard rock leads. The picking attack is extremely articulate, making riffs sound incredibly crisp.
• Single-Coil Mode: Handles everything from a crunchy, bluesy bite to an edgy, modern drive sound, vastly expanding your expressive range.

This instrument delivers an incredibly versatile, modern sound that can seamlessly cover any musical genre.
