First year of the Professional Fender Stratocaster, replacing the American Standard in the range.
Three tone sunburst alder body, rosewood fretboard, maple neck, two point bridge.
Tim Shaw designed "V-Mod" pickups which are specifically the neck pickup using a mix of Alnico 2 (bass strings) and Alnico 3 (treble strings) for warmth and clarity. The middle is Alnico 2 (bass) and Alnico 5 (treble) and is RW/RP (Reverse Wound/Reverse Polarity) for hum cancellation. The bridge is strictly Alnico 5 for bite, factory treble bleed circuitry.
Very nice condition, with minor player wear. Recently setup with 9s, frets in great condition and polished.
Comfortable weight 3.3kg.
Comes with original hard shell case. No tremolo arm.
All in all an awesome playing strat. Articulate, resonate and lightweight.
