Holton C602RC cornet in lacquered brass with rose brass leadpipe. Overall bright and shiny finish but with numerous smal dings and scratches, but no large dents (see photos for details). All slides and caps move easily and the valves look good and work smoothly. Cleaned and lubed. Seems to have good compression and plays well. Comes with an unbranded cornet mouthpiece with silverplate completely intact and a very nice hard case. Made in Japan.
"Built on a stencil contract by Yamaha, combining classic Holton Collegiate specs with Yamaha’s reliable 1980s manufacturing quality. They are known for having great intonation, smooth valves, and solid projection, making them excellent, durable student or intermediate horns.
Bell Size: It features a larger, "monster" bell profile measuring approximately 5 ¼ inches, giving it an surprisingly warm tone and excellent projection paired with a rose brass leadpipe to resist corrosion and help produce a darker, warmer sound.
