2004 Gibson Master Model F-9 Mandolin Sunburst

This 2004 Gibson F-9 mandolin is in excellent condition. This mandolin shows only light signs of play wear throughout - most notably a very small pinhead sized ding on the tip of the peghead. Otherwise, this instrument is extremely fine and tidy. This F-9 features a nice hand carved tight grained solid spruce top and a moderately figured hand carved solid maple back and sides with a very striking matte sunburst finish. The neck on this mandolin is nicely figured maple with a sharp “V” profile, a rosewood fingerboard and 1 1/16” nut width that is very comfortable and easy to play. The frets on this instrument are in great shape and it has received a set up so it plays excellent. This is a great sounding mandolin with plenty of volume and body. This F-9 is housed in a TKL hardshell case that fits like a glove and will ship out promptly and securely from our little shop here in Tennessee to your front door!
