Paiste 22" Sound Creation Bell Ride Cymbal 3520g 1980s
Cymbal is in very good used condition and fully functional. It has wear and cosmetic blemishes from careful use. No cracks, dents, dings, or keyholes. Logos are strong with only minimal fading. Weight is 3520 grams. I estimate this cymbal is from the 1980’s. Made in Switzerland.
The Paiste 22” Sound Creation Bell Ride is a legendary, heavy vintage cymbal made from premium B20 bronze, engineered for ultimate projection and articulation. The sound is bright, glassy, with ultra-precise stick definition over a massive, complex harmonic wash. It does not crash easily due to its heavy weight.
The bell is massive, clear, and penetrating; it easily cuts through high-volume stage mixes. It looks as good as it sounds with its distinctive deep, separated hammer marks. This model was famously used by Iron Maiden’s Nicko McBrain in the early '80s later inspiring his Signature Reflector model.
