The product is a rare and wonderfully preserved 1972 Buffet Crampon Paris R13 Professional Full Boehm Clarinet, made of Grenadilla wood with a nickel silver finish. This expert-level clarinet is from what is considered to be the "Golden Era" of Buffet clarinets! It comes in the original case with original key and includes a generic mouthpiece, reed holder and some King Seal. It is highly sought after by musicians for its quality craftsmanship and distinctive sound. I took it to my local M&A store to have it checked out and after looking it over they thought it was in great overall shape, appears to have had synthetic pads installed at some pointreally and really did not need anything to make it playable. May require polishing of the nickel finish, if so desired. Service history is not known.
