At 1192g (bottom) and 928g (top), this pair of Tosco 14" hi-hats are highly regarded vintage, Italian-made cymbals known for their high-quality B20 bronze alloy construction and unique, dark tonal properties. Originally produced in Pistoia, Italy, during the 1970s and 1980s, these cymbals are sought after by collectors and players who appreciate a vintage sound comparable to, or even preferred over, classic Zildjian New Beats. Because the companyTosco was later bought out by Robert Zildjian they were eventually tied to Sabian.
Crisp, dark, and cutting. They tend to have slightly scooped middle frequencies with an abundance of crisp highs, making them sound remarkably shimmering when played slightly open. No cracks, keyholing or flea bites.
