A superb, early example of left-handed G23-CR-L from the times, when Furch entered the British market under the Stonebridge brand, using the highest quality woods and stringent standards of production and workmanship.

Those early Stonebridge models are as good as current Red / Red Deluxe Series without paying premium (over £2,500) for master-grade tone woods, exclusive tuning machines (Schaller Germany in Gold with this example here) and top-end electronics.

The best looking, almost 3d effect premium grade solid Rosewood to the back and sides (please se photos) I have ever seen on any Rosewood guitar I ever owned or played.

This example was upgraded with L.R. Baggs Stagepro Anthem System (dual source – piezo and mic) at extra £400 incl. labour.

The Stonebridge G23-CR (historically manufactured under the Furch factory name in the Czech Republic) is a premium, master-built Grand Auditorium acoustic guitar.

A delight to play. 

While it displays the usual warmth of cedar, it also has the punch and bottom end usually associated with spruce top guitars.
