1981 Inventions "Some Kinda DRV".
This isn't your standard DRV—it was released as a special art project featuring a completely custom, hand-painted striped enclosure (Art & Design by Matthew Hoopes, Karen Schierhorn, and friends). Because it's an art piece, the finish is unique and more delicate than the stock powder coats, giving it awesome character.
Specs & Details:
Circuit: DRV V2 Standard
Controls: Drive (Gain), Cut (Tone/Hi-Cut), and Volume (Loudness).
True Bypass Mode: Available on this V2 version via a small internal black switch on the PCB if you prefer it over buffered bypass.
Power Requirements: Strictly 9V DC negative power (isolated power supply highly recommended).
Excellent condition. The custom painted finish shows minor natural wear/chipping on the edges from light use, which is typical for this specific delicate "art project" release.
