Up for sale is my 2020 Fender Limited Edition American Professional Stratocaster in Beautiful Desert Sand. This guitar was a special dealer exclusive run that was in limited quantities that differed from the other limited edition rosewood neck models by having upgraded Fender Pure Vintage 65 pickups and the rare beautiful desert sand finish. I purchased this beautiful piece to add to my collection and has since been handled with care and played very little, always stored in my climate controlled smoke free studio. Other than a couple of very tiny surface marks on the front too small and light to capture in a photo and a tiny tiny pin head size mark on the body by the neck in pic 6 (hardly worth mentioning but I’m just very meticulous with my gear and that transparent when I sell it) it is pretty much in mint like new condition and is a very fine specimen of these limited number limited edition Strats. The neck on this one a very particularly nice piece of rosewood with beautiful grains, smooth and fast with not a hint of fret wear set up nicely with 10s. The body is a very resonant piece of alder and the fender pure vintage 65 pickups sound amazing in this one, definitely one my favorite sets by fender. There were a few very tasteful upgrades done which include:
*Fender staggered locking tuners, I installed reverse because I prefer the break angle on the bass strings that way, odd ball I know but can always easily be switched back if you desire. ($80 plus tax)
*Dunlop Straplocks ($23 plus tax)
*Professionally installed Seymour Duncan Hot rail in the bridge ($100 plus tax and professional installation)
Other than this, the guitar is completely stock and includes the original strap holders and original fender pure vintage 65 bridge pickup in case you want put it back in its stock form. I have to say I have played a lot of Strats in my time and this one really stands up there with the best of them. All this being said, I hate to let go of this one but I’m really needing to downsize my collection to make room and as this one doesn’t get played as often as it should, I would really love to see it go to a good home where it’ll get the play time it deserves. This will ship in its original hardshell case (which took a pretty good bump and has a chip out of it pictured but otherwise excellent condition), all case candy and COA, and original strap locks and pure vintage 65 bridge pickup. If you have any questions just let me know and thanks for looking! I have been buying and selling on here for years so check my feedback and buy with confidence!
