For sale is a Martin Imperial trumpet from the mid 60’s. RMC crest on the bell. 211xxx serial.

Trumpet geekery:

This is a really nice playing reverse leadpipe trumpet, similar to the more famous Martin Committee trumpet. This one is a cylindrical .453 medium bore throughout the length of the horn, compared to the tapered tuning slide on the Committee which starts at .445. You get a similar sound to the Committee but a little more control.

This horn is in very good shape, with a few small dings and signs of dent repair on the bell near the bell/receiver brace. All slides are smooth and valves have great compression.

Recent professional cleaning. New felts and corks.
