Selling a pair of Sabian HHX 14" Click Hats in excellent used condition.

These cymbals are structurally excellent with no cracks, no edge damage, and no keyholing. They show normal cosmetic wear such as light stick marks and fingerprints consistent with regular use, but have been very well cared for overall.

One thing worth noting is that these cymbals came from the factory with a more subtle finish than some HHX Click Hats you'll see online. Many examples have a very dark, high-contrast inner playing area, while this pair has a lighter appearance with a darker inner circle but less dramatic contrast. They are original factory cymbals and have not been cleaned, polished, modified, or refinished by me.

The HHX Click Hats are relatively uncommon on the used market. At the time of listing, I was only able to find a couple of other used pairs available for sale. If you're specifically looking for this model, you already know they don't come up very often.

These hats were designed to emphasize a pronounced, articulate "click" and foot chick while maintaining the darker, more musical character of the HHX line. Closed sounds are crisp and focused with excellent stick definition, while partially open sounds produce a controlled wash that stays clear and easy to mix. They work particularly well for funk, fusion, gospel, pop, rock, and any situation where precise sticking and clear hi-hat articulation are important.
