J.Drawbridge Audio Bourbon Drive 2025 - Bourbon powder coating

Okay, this a subtle one, but a good one. J.Drawbridge Bourbon Drive

#001 of a run of valve driven boost/drives. As far as I know, this is the only one of it's kind as Justin makes mostly one off pedals.

Features a Brimar 12AT7, offering a smooth clean to low gain drive.

Powder coated enclosure, takes 9V or 12V centre negative (standard) power.

Think Mayer, bluesy, always on drive to enhance the tone of your favorite amp while maintaining clarity and transparency (see demo video below that Justin did for sound sample).

If I am using a pedal board, I always have a tube based device at the start of the chain so that, 1) a tube is the first thing the guitar sees (as god intended), and 2) the signal is immediately buffered by the tubes cathode follower through the rest of the chain. Think Valvulator, Steel Guitar Black Box, Effectrode Glass A, or my hands down favorite, Kingsley Druid. This drive effectively does that by adding a warm, extremely low gain boost to your guitar signal, "sweetening" it up. Like such things are, it is subtle, but when it's not there you really notice.

This pedal has a beautiful aesthetic and functional build. Hand wired, built and signed by Justin in the UK. Internal control to cut out top end if needed, for those running very bright amps. I just have too many of these types of pedals. I'm also getting on in years, so I am starting to pass on some cherished items that are low use for me, but may be great for you.
