Hi there!

I’m selling two classic field mixers in one affordable bundle!

First up: the film industry standard Sound Devices 442. This is a wonderful, *Lundahl* equipped ENG mixer w/ four transformer switchable mic/line inputs and a stereo pair of balanced transformer outputs. It also includes four direct outs to isolte your signals! Portable high end broadcast box with limiter.

Note: battery chain is undone and some of the fine gain dials overshoot their indentations. Otherwises passes strong signal and operates normally!

Second: the British Belclere equipped Audio Developments AD 261! Whereas the Sound Devices is a bit “crystalline” (but not clinical) the AD has a dark quality—”Neve-ish” I’m told. Similar to the Sound Devices but does not have four direct outs.

Note: this unit is finicky and will need some repair. Meters do not illuminate but they do respond. The fine gain knobs overshoot their indent and need to be recalibrated. Headroom feels a bit too low (will distort easily but I am not amazing at gain staging) and the limiter is noisey. All of that said: the unit works! All four inputs and the two stereo outputs pass signal. headphone monitor works. Coarse gain works. Finicky but turns on and can be used.

Both units:

Have only used with dynamic mics and have not tested phantom power or T power.

Only have used with batteries.

Meters read.

Recap: you are getting ONE Sound Devices 442 in very reasonable working condition excluding the aforementioned.

You are getting ONE Audio Developmets AD 261 that is being sold FOR PARTS/REPAIR.

Both units are being sold in a bundle AS IS. Both units may need further repair than what I’ve stated as I’ve not tested every feature.

Thanks for looking!
