Mike Fuller refined the circuit for its "final" version with smart upgrades that make it even more responsive and versatile than previous iterations. It shines with single-coils or humbuckers, in front of clean or already-breaking-up amps, and across genres from blues and rock to indie, metal, and beyond.

Key Features That Set It Apart:

• Class A discrete 2N5457 JFET input section — Boosts input impedance to 1 Mega Ohm (up from 330K). This gives superior dynamics, touch sensitivity, and better compatibility with all pickup types while isolating your signal from what's before it.
• Output buffer (active when engaged in True-Bypass mode or always in Enhanced mode) — Protects your tone from downstream pedals and cables, adds sustain/overtones, and keeps your sound consistent and punchy no matter your board size.
• Internally selectable True-Bypass or Enhanced Bypass — No more tone suck in big rigs. Enhanced Bypass recoups lost dynamics from cables and true-bypass pedals without phase issues or the sterility of typical buffers. Pop-free switching in both modes.
• HP/LP Toggle Switch — High Peak (more low-end thump and upper-mid bite, great for high-gain) or Low Peak (more natural, transparent response).
