How's it going! You're looking at a 1966 Fender Vibrolux Reverb AA864 Combo Amplifier *FULLY SERVICED/ALL ORIGINAL*!

Made in 1966 in Fullerton, California, this Fender Vibrolux Reverb combo amplifier is the ultimate gigging and studio machine, perfectly bridging the gap between small-club convenience and rich, touch-sensitive tube overdrive. This amplifier comes from its original owner and has been fully serviced to ensure flawless, quiet operation while preserving its historic vintage integrity. The service included installing a safe 3-prong grounded power cable and replacing the aged electrolytic capacitors, making it completely reliable for the stage or studio. Equipped with its original factory-matched Jensen C10Q speakers, which both carry the period-correct production code from the 7th week of 1966, this amp retains the unmistakable clarity, chime, and tight low-end response that defined the mid-60s Fender sound. The legendary, 35-watt tube circuit follows the highly desirable AA864 blueprint outlined on the pristine interior tube chart, running on a classic vintage lineup of a GZ34 rectifier, dual 6L6GC power tubes, and premium preamp glass to drive its dual channels, lush spring reverb, and optical tremolo.

Cosmetically, this amplifier tells a story in itself, showing significant vintage character with tolex scuffs and corner wear that speak to its decades of musical history. The original silver-sparkle grill cloth has aged into a golden-tan patina and shows a few minor snags alongside a clean horizontal tear on the bottom edge (See photos provided). These defects are purely cosmetic, honest signs of a well-loved amplifier, and will not affect its use.

Sonically, this amp is an absolute powerhouse. It delivers iconic, three-dimensional Blackface cleans with sparkling highs and a deep, punchy low-end that stays incredibly articulate. When turned up, it transitions beautifully into a smooth, aggressive, and touch-sensitive tube overdrive that responds perfectly to your playing dynamics. The onboard spring reverb is remarkably deep and spacious, while the tremolo offers that warm, pulsing wave effect that only a true vintage circuit can provide. This amplifier also comes with its original footswitch. Don't miss out on the rare opportunity to own this 1966 Fender Vibrolux Reverb Combo Amp!!!
