I bought this brand new from the builder about 2 months ago, at most. It's an incredible fuzz and is built like a tank. It's a very heavy and saturated fuzz, so much so that with the fuzz at minimum, it's still extremely saturated. And with the bias and tone controls it is outrageously versatile.
I added very small sharpie letters by each knob to know what was what, and did my best to remove them. The last pic is from the builder's listing that I bought from, I am including it to show the true colors and you can compare it to mine to see if the faint letters bother you. I downgraded the condition from excellent to very good only for this.
So why the listing? I am more of a fuzz face player, so this has no place in my gear locker unless I just hold onto it for those "just in case" moment. I think that someone here will use it more often than I will, so I am listing it for a while.
The video is from the builder.
It has never left my very clean home studio and works amazingly. Get it now before someone else nabs it, including me!
:)
I always ship quickly, pack well, and am communicative. read the reviews about me, I make sure that every transaction is a good one.
From the builder:
The F11 Fuzz is a two transistor silicon fuzz with four knobs. The way it works is that the input capacitance is high and the first transistor amp receives full output from your guitar. The first stage is originally biased at the Q-point for max sustain, but this can change with the bias control. The output from the first stage goes directly into a second transistor which clips the signal nicely. Lastly, the signal retains its bass content with a high output capacitor into the tone section and is clipped with a pair of silicon diodes and through an output volume control. It gives a great saturated sounding fuzz and with its 4 knobs becomes a true fuzz sculptor. I'm personally surprised it isn't made out of germanium transistors. I love it and I hope you do to!
Features:
4 knobs, True bypass, powered by +9V adapter only, fully analog
Bias - biases first transistor stage, three sweep ranges: 1) gated buzziness (leftside sweep, 2) tight fuzz and sustain (11-12 O'clock sweep), 3) sustained increase pulse width buzz (rightside sweep). location: top left
Volume - unity gain is at 12 O'clock. Plenty of juice. location: bottom left
Tone - Is a low pass filter, highs increase clockwise. location: top right
Fuzz - controls fuzz saturation, intensity increases clockwise. location: bottom right
