Mayson M5/SCE 2012 - Gloss 6 string acoustic

One of the most popular models in the Mayson Luthier Series line-up.

With rosewood back and sides and a solid Engelmann spruce top it is hand made in the Mayson style. This beautiful guitar is in excellent condition with just a few very minor signs of play wear which are hardly noticeable. The frets are barely worn at all and this is a very clean, well cared for and much cherished example.

The only reason I am selling it is purely because I need an extra wide neck nowadays to accommodate my elderly fingers. At 45mm nut width this is a normal, popular size but just a little narrow for me now.

Because of the pairing between Engelmann spruce and rosewood, the M5/SCE offers a highly responsive, rich, and articulate acoustic tone. The neck provides a fast, smooth playing feel, making it an excellent all-rounder for both fingerpicking and strumming. The sound and acoustic volume is amazing and the action at the 12th fret is perfect at 2.5, 2.0.

Please note there are no electrics installed in this guitar.
