Rare early 1988 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster 57' Reissue. Custom shop started in 1987, this is from one of the very early production runs of original 57 reissues. This has different specs / pickups from the avris of the same year and is stamped with Scott Buehl who worked in the custom shop for 30 years. Pickups are likely Abigail Ybarra who did all of the pickups for the early custom shop years.
Neck Width at nut: 1.65” Neck Width at fifth fret: 1.85” Neck Width at twelfth fret: 2.04”
Neck Thickness at first fret: .830” Neck Thickness at fifth fret: .880” Neck Thickness at twelfth fret: .980”
In very good playing condition, has a few dings here and there. Neck is the original soft V profile. All hardware and pickups original, comes with original tweed hardshell case.
Comes with original tweed hard case.
Guitar is incredible, selling because I prefer a flatter / C neck and it's been collecting dust / should go to someone who will play it.
