Up for sale is a beautiful 1965 Slingerland 5x14 6-lug snare drum in Aqua Satin Flame.

I purchased this drum locally and spent time carefully cleaning and detailing it. The result is a great-looking vintage Slingerland that presents exceptionally well, especially for a Satin Flame finish, which is often heavily scratched, faded, or damaged after 60 years.

The shell is date stamped NOV 65 and features reinforcement rings. The original Aqua Satin Flame wrap has excellent visual appeal and really comes alive in natural light. As with most vintage drums, there are some minor cosmetic imperfections when examined up close, but from normal viewing distance the drum looks fantastic.

This is a great player's vintage Slingerland that still retains a tremendous amount of originality while remaining completely functional and ready to use.
