1972 Gibson Firebird Medallion edition, one of just 366 made. Appears to be all original, and without the humbucker routings, broken headstock, or refinishing that so many of these have suffered. In good condition, still plays and sounds great but has lots of finish checking, some finish loss (see pictures), and playwear. Pickup selector switch may need cleaning or attention as the bridge pickup sometimes fades out when switching between pickups but toggling the switch back and forth a few times allows the bridge pickup to play normally. Gibson-embossed Firebird mini humbuckers (no pole pieces like the LP Deluxe!) sound great. Switch tip is cracked but still functional. Original case with matching medallion is worn and the latches are there but don't stay closed well and are not to be trusted when carrying the guitar in the case - I would recommend using a strap around the case or something similar to keep it safely closed and the guitar secure. Offers considered but lowball offers will not receive a response.
