There is more wear to one cover than the other. It looks a bit like someone tried remove the gold maybe. That pickup has never been opened. The bridge pickup cover is a vintage replacement. The original cover is included, but has been polished to a shiny nickel finish. I replaced that cover because I was on the lookout for a Byrdland husk to put these in, and I wanted them to match better. I have since found a complete Byrd so these are going on the market. There's a lot of bullshit PAFs on the market. I guarantee the authenticity of these or you can return them. I had these both in an ES 5 Switchmaster and they sound excellent. I kept these pickups and sold that guitar, if that says anything. Again, these will blacklight perfectly, they sound excellent. Lower 48 only. Thanks
