Hello Yamaha drum fans. Here we have a Yamaha Oak Custom 16 round x 14 inch floor tom, made in Japan, the good stuff!
Top quality professional grade drum in excellent condition. Some of the best drums made and the last of the made in Japan Yamaha kits.
Excellent condition. Super clean exterior finish, clean shell interior and bearing edges. Original chrome hardware all in clean condition, no rust or pitting, no broken parts.
Finished in original Uzukuri emerald high-gloss transparent lacquer with wood grain showing through. Yamaha's Uzukuri finish is a traditional Japanese technique used on Oak Custom drums, designed to highlight the natural grain by sanding down softer areas. This process creates a textured, durable surface that is then coated and buffed, resulting in a luxurious, rustic appearance. Very unique/beautiful, professional grade finish!

Serial numbers NTT816 QIY1909.This tom was originally a suspended 16 round by 14 inch floor tom that has been professionally added with legs and leg mounts (non-original legs and mounts that are in mint condition). I believe this makes the drum more desirable with enhanced performance compared to a traditional suspended tom with no legs. Evans coated batter head and stock Yamaha clear resonant head both in excellent condition.
Drum tunes up nicely stays in tune and delivers deep punchy tones with excellent volume and tuning range.
