This listing is for an original left handed Fender Stratocaster neck from 1962. Pre CBS lefty Fender's are extremely rare and this is one of the rarest neck you will see. What's more, this neck is in excellent original condition. The neck retains the original finish and decal and comes as pictured with the original Kluson single-line tuners. The neck is a curved board neck with clay dots and is dated Nov 62 with a B profile and original 2 (Stratocaster) stamp. It's funny how they decided to stamp the lefty neck upside down...

The frets are the original frets and do show wear and are fairly low and flat. The truss rod has been tested and is fully functional and there are no signs of functionality issues with the neck. I briefly had the neck on a later left handed Stratocaster body and it played great. The frets were a little low but not buzzy and I want to leave it up to the final owner to decide if they want to refret or not.

*The high E string tuning gear is slightly chipped. I was still able to use it but please note the slight damage*

Needless to say, left handed Pre CBS Stratocaster necks are not available everyday. The neck isn't cheap but it's one of only few ever made and extremely rare.
