Made in Japan in 1990–1991, classic Fender ST-54 Stratocaster in timeless Olympic White finish.
The guitar is in very good condition for its age, showing honest signs of use accumulated over more than 30 years. There are several dents, dings and finish imperfections on the body, including a larger chip on the lower rear edge and various scratches on the back and sides. The hardware shows light oxidation and patina consistent with age. None of these imperfections affect playability or structural integrity. The frets are in good condition.
Bolt-on construction with a 25.5" scale length, vintage-style body, one-piece maple neck and maple fingerboard with 21 frets. The comfortable vintage neck profile and classic specifications make this guitar a fantastic choice for players seeking authentic early Stratocaster feel and tone.
The guitar is equipped with a traditional SSS pickup configuration, delivering the unmistakable Stratocaster sound – sparkling cleans, warm neck tones and crisp bridge pickup bite. Vintage-style synchronized tremolo and Fender Japan vintage tuners complete the classic specification.
Produced during the highly regarded Fujigen era, this ST-54 showcases the excellent craftsmanship that made Fender Japan instruments so desirable. The naturally aged Olympic White finish paired with the gold anodized pickguard gives the guitar a distinctive vintage appearance and plenty of character.
The guitar plays effortlessly, sounds great and represents a fantastic example of an early Fender Japan Stratocaster.
