JL Woodwinds Tenor Saxophone + case + mouthpieces

Up for sale is my JL Woodwinds Professional Tenor Saxophone, one of the earlier designs built by renowned saxophone technician and craftsman John Leadbetter before the introduction of his current Artist Series models. These saxophones or meticulously modeled after the Selmer SBA’s, and of course the Selmer Mark VI. 

This is a fantastic-playing tenor with a big, rich sound that reminds me of a blend of a Selmer SBA and Mark VI while offering modern ergonomics, excellent intonation, and reliable keywork. It has been a pleasure to own and perform on.

One of the things that initially drew me to this model was the attention it received from acclaimed saxophonist Bob Reynolds, who featured and spoke very highly of a JL Woodwinds tenor in his well-known video discussing a modern saxophone that felt remarkably similar to a vintage Mark VI.

Condition:

The horn is in excellent cosmetic condition with no major dents, damage, or repairs that I am aware of. Most of the photos in this listing were taken by the previous owner when I purchased the instrument and accurately represent its current condition. I have also included a few recent photos and a current playing sample so buyers can see and hear exactly how the horn presents today.

I am only selling because I recently acquired a Selmer Mark VI and cannot justify keeping both tenors.
